'Can we please go back to normal?' asks Sandra Bullock... as she kisses Scarlett Johansson at MTV Movie Awards

After three months of shunning the limelight, Sandra Bullock has made a storming return to the public eye.

In her first televised appearance since her split from unfaithful husband Jesse James, a smiling and positive Sandra made it clear she was ready to move on with her life.

At the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles last night, she jokingly embraced actress Scarlett Johansson.

She then insisted: 'Now that we have done that, can we please go back to normal?
